"welcome to the AIDS club!"
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Looks it's not only clubs now: today I read in a local newspaper that a woman has been attacked in an elevator on the way home; the attacker pressed a syringe with a needle to her neck threatening to infect her with AIDS if she didn't give him all the money. The guy was caught and sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment. Even though the needle wasn't infected, I still think the punishment was too light.

I saw something about that too, sw. It is a belief in Africa and not one that other parts of the world have adopted.
To add a little more background, this goes back to beliefs and customs in which a young girl's virginity is ascribed with curative/magical powers.
The saddest thing is that people in high positions of responsibility actually bought into a very stupid counter theory that HIV was NOT the cause of AIDS and so did not push forward any programs of prevention and avoidance, much less fund for the drugs needed to treat AIDS sufferers.
