As it has already been said rain is not as bad as snow. I also live in Canada but on the west coast, here it rains more than snows.............

try the snowstorm that lasted 2 weeks over here, 5 more days of constant snow and i bet, we would have to tunnel our way out, we had to dig quite a bit to surface the back step door, and getting to school was quite a chore, holy ****, i think that rhymed. yeah, it was hell for me, i had to shovel snow for 2 days straight (i slept and ate, dont worry)

The rain i LOVE is warm heavy rain. Its been some time since we had a 'tropical' storm as i call them . Where the rain drops are nice and warm to the touch - not cold water on a hot day - but WARM water on a warm day......I love it when its like that. more than happy to get drenched. Like i said, its been some time since we had one....bout 6 years at least as far as i can remember...

It's has been raining all day here in Melbourne, but yesterday it was 32C! Becasue of that we had the one of the hottest nights on record. Damn Melbourne weather *grumble* .
