Dogs Can Detect Whether You Have Bladder Cancer

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

If they manage to cure everything, what will kill us next? Can you imagine a world where the average age is 100+ - and they all still need help 24/7 *shudders*

I don't understand what the fuss is about....??! its not sick! its not disgusting! The dogs are only doing what they naturally do anyway - sniff pee - its a territorial thing. For god sake, grow up people, there are countries where its still customary to drink your own urine - whats the problem with your dog sniffing a sample?!! What exactly do you think they're sniffing when they bury their heads in your crotch...??...they're sniffing for traces of urine on your trousers to identify their owner. Fact.

Get a grip!

I think the study is very positive - although I think the results of less than 50% accuracy is disappointing.

I was wondering whether or not anyone would post this . Well I agree; 41% is pretty damn average, and the test is certainly unsanitary. I must also say that I'm with Taw; bring on the leeches! Oh, some salt to remove them afterwards .

Correction, if the dogs were performing to average, the likelihood of proper detection only would have been 19%.

No doubt the Dogs can small bladder cancer, the problem is whether or not the dog recognises it, and, more importantly, responds to it in a predictable manner

Well given the proper training dogs and other animals can do a verity of tasks. Dogs have performed sniffing tasks :ie. drug, explosives chemicals, for years now. So it would not surprize me.........

There are some amaizing animals......................AZAR
