Damn that Dial-Up!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

You know, if the reason you don't have DSL/Cable isn't that you can't afford it, but that it's not available in your area, there is a solution. If your ISP supports it, you can have 2 dialup modems with combined speed. 56K + 56K = 112K.

Of course, this costs a lot extra, but if broadband isn't available in your area, you might want to look into this.

Hmm Then we can just as well go back to using ISDN, its not worth the cost, your dl speeds is not that much faster

I have dial up at home and cable at work. The page loading is about the same, so the only real use to cable is in downloading larger files. That is anything over 5mb. Ther than that, dial up suits the needs.
