frances update

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

frances update

they're cleaning up
ST. MARKS, Fla. - Tropical Storm Frances sloshed into the Florida Panhandle on Monday, taking a second swing at a storm-weary state where it already had knocked out power to 6 million people, torn up roofs and boats and been blamed for at least seven deaths.

hopefully we'll be hearing from dark in a couple days, if not, a week.

i wouldnt hold out much hope, hurricane ivan is on the way

No one's sure where Ivan is headed. That's the problem with Mother Nature. She has her own mind about doing things and doesn't readily telegraph them either.

We're getting the rain now from the storm. Suppose to be 3 days. Had some bad wind last night and about 2inchs of rain so far. Florida is going to have the harder time cleaning and rebuilding.

Ahh rain. I saw that stuff once.
I live in AZ, and we don't even get an inch a year, so I love rain.
Unfortuantly, we are too far away to get any from the storms.
Good luck!

Hurricane Ivan projected 5 day storm track

It is early days. If Ivan veers north into the Gulf of Mexico, he'll pick up energy as the Gulf Water is rather warm. This would mean landfall anywhere along the Texas/Louisana/Alabama coastline.

Other Hurricanes that have followed Ivan's current path in the past have proceeded to hit the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico or devastate Honduras, Guatemala, et. al.

if nature really wants to F*** up florida, ivan might hit it again.. a good distance but still, there's alot of water, not as much land.

then again, if you blow really hard, really hard, you might be able to blow the hurricane away

@below, no, my method is alot easier and efficient. 100% foolproof too. absolutely no chance of failing. all you gotta do is blow hard enough.

when their countries eventually flood or get blown away by hurricanos, Will, we can offer them sanctuary on our nice safe inland English hills.

I doubt the Wrekin's going to suffer from rising se-levels anytime soon

Post Wed Sep 08, 2004 8:14 am
