You know what I did on my birthday? I went to my waterpolo practice. You know why? BEcause I enjoy it. Just do something you like, take your girl to a restaurant, go see a movie (there's one you'll like I guess). If eating pizzas with your friends makes you happy, do so! No-one ever said that your 16th birthday has to be one grand show of tremendous cool things happening all day. Just do what you like! Even in that involves getting out of bed at 13:00, walking around in your pyjamas 'till 17:00, going out for pizza with your girl and go to bed at 22:00.

Come to think of it, this year I also have to go to waterpolo practice on my 18th (!!) birthday. A relaxt practice, drinking some beers with my mates afterwards. Nothing beats some quality time with my friends.

Common, it could be up to you to make it a jolly company. You could think of doing sth crazy (well, in a good way), that usually brightens life up.
