good job i never got any U's then isn't it i got 3-E's 2-D's 5-C's and a B in German
. Meaning over half my grades are in the A*-C category which will be very helpfull for my employment prospects

General Certificate of Secondary Education. Exams taken in the eleventh year of school here in the UK by everyone in about 10 or 11 subjects, usually. Grades range from A* to G (with U meaning ungradeable)
Coursework generally provides 20-30% of the final mark in almost every subject, being done at some time over the two year course.

Wales has sopme funky exam system and Scotland has Standard Grade (Harder that GSCE)
Plus I'm in 5th year which is wquivilent to year12
