thats cause it needs mods, bad. voice overs too. but still a fantastic job by such a small team.
edit: but nonetheless, the game has some enourmous potential. if all of our FL modders and renderers worked up a joint operation on starshatter, i think it can become an amazing game.
some artists too, for those avatar things that they had in SL and FL. but thats just for decoration. the physics of the game could use some fine tuning imho.
i love the missiles, the damage effects. the limited stocks. but the damage effects are really a bit tooo.... great. its like as if you're driving a small car in space. couple bullets riddle holes in it. but a space fighter should have a significant amount of armour. right now, couple hits will bring your entire drive out, essentially reducing your fighter to a floating hunk of metal that shoots stuff.
there should be some kind of automatic targetting and lock system like in SL.
and targets.. are too fooking small! the diamond marker just totally covers them. its more like a atmospheric fighter sim game where its nearly impossible to learn how to dogfight.
gunfire aims a little below the cross thingy. its hard to aim too.

edit2:
here see the fighter? its pretty much locked like that. its the scene that changes, and not the fighter when you turn. its very much like that earth is flat and the heavens are one celestial cieling that rotates when in reality its the ship that turns. but you dont see any effect the turning has on the ship. the whole thing just.. 'shifts'. the HUD is hell to understand.
