My guess from what I see in the piccy is that its a mixing panel intended for mixing music, I could be a tad off though.. and way to commercialize the hangout.

your desk is kinda boring...i mean, how is it fun to look ant see what you are looking for? you totally take the fun away from looking trough the piles of crap everywhere on your desk. i would show you a pic of mine but i dont have a digital camera

well spotted loc! i am an amateur musician, and the speakers are on the shelf above the monitor, with a subbie next to the monitor.

was done with webcam, lighting is crap, during the day it would be alot better. and i couldn't get the full thing cause i couldn't be bothered to switch to a front USB port.

Doom III works fin on my computer, realy smoove and butiful
Homeworld 2 i play on the highest detail and it goes very smoove and of course very butiful (esspecialy when you can see fleets of ships and capital ship fighting against you, it just so butiful ;'-))
X2 The Threat works on highest detail, i just cant find the time to play it (anyway Egosoft is promising to relese a new add-on for X2)
