The Rock does games...er...Movies.

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

The Rock does games...er...Movies.

It would seem that The Rock likes computer games to do the movie versions of them. A list. For those who follow him and his movies. -

Former WWE Superstar The Rock has already proven he's a bankable box office draw with hits like Walking Tall and The Rundown. Now, Rock has 5 more movies that will be wrapped by 2006.

The following is a schedule of The Rock's next 5 film projects.

- Be Cool (2005) (post-production)
- Instant Karma (2005) (pre-production)
-Spy Hunter (2005)
- Johnny Bravo (2005)
- Far Cry (2006)

I remember street fighter - so i seriously doubt that any of them will be any good, OR the only thing they have in common is the title and the fact that its a war setting for Far Cry.

Far Cry? A movie? Starring the "Rock"? *Shakes head in despair* Someone shoot me!

@Esq: your wish is my command. Bang!
On topic - somehow I don't thik this will be any good - as with Stallone and Schwarz, it will take some time till the guy becomes an actor.

*Falls over dead... and miraculously jumps up* It will "take some time" for him to bcome an actor?!?! He can't act, and will never learn how to! That's why he has been type-cast as an "action hero". After all, "Arnie" never learnt how to act (well).

Sorry Zlo but this is too funny for words. How about.... those guys still don't know how to act but they know how to make movies that don't need acting?

Why else do you think the Rock thought.... "hey.... I can do that. It's like being in the fake wrestling ring and looking and sounding upset and stuff"

Computer game rips into movies is perfect to Rock. Acting is not the issue, unless you really think that Trent's character really emotes in the game.

I will have you ALL know, the Rock can act very well. All you have to do is watch him wrestle. He puts on the best show making us believe that he really cares about his fans. Does that take acting or what.

Arny was excellent in Terminator, Kindagarden Cop, and Preditor.
Term - "I'll be back!"
KC - "Thier 6 year olds, how much trouble can they be" Woman "on second thought, take the gun."

Stalone was good in First Blood, Rambo First blood part 2 and in Rocky.

@Fd

I'll give you entertaining. Those guys are entertaining... to many. But acting? Sorry.

Unless, you mean that they are acting like they are acting

The thing with actors, any actors, is to make you believ they are the role thier playng. That, you follow the story they present as if it were a book. Expressions, body language may not always be right for the part, but, if they intertain me, then I look at it as acting, even if the story is badly written. I have only seen 1 or 2 movies that I would never see again and that was long ago. If I am willing to shell out for a DVD, then something must have been good about it. Last action hero, was a one timer for me. And that, more due to story.

I thought The Rundown(Welcome to the Jungle in the UK) was actually really good. But i'm a big big fan of The Rock so i'm biased. Haven't seen walking tall yet though.

Far Cry? Already? Wow. I didn't even think it was that good.
