Harmonic Convergence

Hey all, I was fiddling around the net today looking up insignificant facts about Aug. 16 (Which means it's my b-day! ) and saw some stuff like famous people who were also born on Aug. 16. Blah blah, long story short, I saw this website that had famous events that happened on Aug. 16, and one was Harmonic Convergence in 1987. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what this is? I read a short blip about how it was something like planets lining up or something.

Anyone know more? Is it like a cultural/religion thing? Or is it more like a big scientific event all astronomers know about?

Kinda curious is all.

Harmonic Convergence regarding planets? Sounds like all (or at least a few) of the planets we're in a straight line in the solar system.

Just my two uneducated cents (emphasis on uneducated).

Alternatively, you could look it up on Google.
