Stuck on the Moon CD''s

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Stuck on the Moon CD''s

For those who are unfamiliar with Soccer AM (anyone living outside the UK probably) if you were stuck on the moon and you could only be stuck there with one person (not a relative or anyone on TLR as well) one music album and one movie, what and who would you choose?

I would go there with Halle Berry (moon is boring so i need some eye candy), Linkin Parks Meteora (unhealthy addiction to listening to that) and i would take the Godfather Part II (at 3 hours long and being my most favourite film ever, i could pass a lot of time)

Person: Elisha Cuthbert (yep, gotta have that eye candy, plus she's Canadian)
Album: Tweekend by The Crystal Method
Movie: Star Wars: A New Hope

EDIT: The more I think about it, the more I realize that it really wouldn't be a big deal to be "stuck" on the moon. Assuming that you had all of your basic needs (food, water and shelter) provided for and you didn't have to worry about dying or anything it would actually be quite nice. Keeping in touch with people on Earth would be possible as long as you had a radio transmitter and something to power it (solar generators most likely)

Somewhere like Mars would be much more significant as the distance would mean that messages would be relayed quite slowly and there would likely be times when messages may not be possible at all (because stuff is in the way).

person:- Gore Vidal, cos he's the most intelligent and insightful person on the planet imho (besides if aliens found us, Gore is the best representative of humanity I can think of.
book:- Heart of Darkness, written by Joseph Conrad, cos me and Gore could deconstruct it for years.
fillum:- Ran, dir. by Akira Kurosawa, because I'd never tire of the visual splendour and thematic complexity.
album:- Led Zep remasters

Good question,

I'd take my girl, she's the only one I can spend extended periods of time without driving me completely bonkers. Plus she is well fit.

August and Everything After - Counting Crows

Star Wars: A New Hope - it's the only flick I can watch a 100 times over and not get sick of it.

If I were stuck on the moon, I'd take as many ppl as possible with me - I hate dying alone (you know, no atmosphere, no food, no beer, etc.) .

Life is sexually transmitted

I'd take my camera, spare batteries to last the stay, a computer, solar powered, and a small base.

Post Wed Aug 18, 2004 2:36 pm

Person: A good friend (male/female) with who I can't have a fight with.
Movie: All six SW movies.
Album: Instead, I'll take a 60 Gig MP3 player (they exist) filled with the music I like.

Post Wed Aug 18, 2004 4:41 pm

Person: A Stepford wife.

Music: If only one CD, then none. No album is worth repeated play. I'd rather shoot myself.

Movie: Local Hero

I know, its impossible to choose one film over another for me - but 2001 does seem quite apt. I bet it would be pretty awesome to watch with a full-on starry background.
