Congrats Eraser
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Nah, I guess just the guys who do the coding and mod-testing and such.

The Admin title doesn't have much to do with the fact that BP and I do Mod testing and posting about it and other news on the frontpage. As the title suggests, we administer the site, which means maintenance on the site, fixing errors where needed (yes, we are looking into the 500 error thing atm), adding things to the site (like I added the Fan Fiction page), editing and/or deleting things on the site and more of that sort of stuff. Basically we help Bargib out in his tough job of running the site and keeping it fully functional. He had to do all that work himself for the last 4 years, but now we take some of that work out of his hands to make his TLR life a bit easier
so what exactly is the difference between a "moderator" and an "admin" then? you can all still lock/sticky/move threads and tell us all what we can or can't get away with, so is there in practice any actual difference? apologies if I'm being a bit thick, this has all happened while I've been away, so maybe it's already been explained, I dunno?
There is no difference between Mod and Admin here in the forums. Like you said, we can all edit, delete and move threads. The difference here in the forums is purely cosmatic. The true difference lies in the access to the rest of the site. The Mods moderate the forums (and some can do newsposts on the frontpage and such), while an Admin has to work the entire site (eg add or edit forums, fix bugs, add pages to the site, edit pages etc.)
Hope that answers your question.

Although Eraser does say in his last sentance, mods cannot make new forums, change old ones etc. We are limited to inflictin....i mean, watching the forums. Eraser and Baked have to take care of tons of stuff, including all the typing, image links and text editing for those main posts on the front page. I could not imagine how long something like the WTS world one took - all the indents, paras, listings, images etc etc - must have taken flippin hours.
So in my prospective, its not that they have access to the <pre><font size=1 face=Courier>code </font></pre>, but more that they spend all that time each day, every day, just sorting out the main page posts - and STILL get no thanks or recognition for it. Whilst we post around a bit, they are busting butt sorting out the downloads and stuff. Simply put - the main difference is that they do that, whilst i wouldn't have the patience to do it. I would literally buckle trying to do what BP does .
There are quite a few mods to look over the forums, and "covering each other" in a way, so if one of us is away for months (ie - FF) then there are still plenty of us to cope with no issues/problems. The site itself is a much bigger task, and there is only baked and eraser to sort it.
Which post is that E?
