explains a few things...
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Drinking not entirely pure water is actually good for you, I've been drinking water from a hole in the ground for years, it was lead to tank in which I'm sure dead birds and bird droppings could be found, a few minths ago, we lived on a farm for a few months, got water from a stream, lots of iron in it, as well as it has been flowing over baboon poo, bok poo and who knows what else
I rarely get anything worse than a cold, I think its linked with the water, my family rarely get sick as well

On the flip side, you could also be infested with nasties, like tapeworm, round worms, various bugs and mites/tics. I would certainly not advise drinking water without some form of purification, as to be honest, you would be shocked what they find in people these days! You should at least boil the water before drinking it...
@sw: totally, its little bugs and things found in the water that keeps the immune system alert and ready. Like the George Carlin stand up show (if anyone knows the one im talking about jump in now and say so) he swam in the hudson river when he was a kid (apparantly) where they dumped alot of garbage and never caught the childhood diseases that were killing alot of other kids at the time because his immune system was kicking ass.
Personally, i dont care whats in my drinking water, we all gotta die sometime and i'd prefer to die from the irony of drinking water.

I like water, but I love ginger beer more . I really need to get myself a water filter...
Remember: Don't take water for granted people. Here in Melbourne which is (of course) on the coast of the "driest continent on earth", we are on permanent water restrictions *sigh*. No more hosing down the driveway ... just kidding, I abhor that practice.

There is a practice in an area near me. They filter and clean sewer water then tie it in to a sprinkler system in several acers of woods and run it several times a week. That way it soaks into the ground, natures own filter system which is the best. Spring water is the best tasting there is.
