It can depend on the function as well. I would favor a navy blue or powder blue. Powder for more festive occations and navy for more formal occations.

Well - you did ask what colours no-one else would be wearing, and lets face it, you would stand out a mile..............and be tried for murder as everyone died of a heart attack at the visual stimulus of colour


When in doubt, go with Black. Short, well cut, fitted black dresses ALWAYS look good, and are very flattering to any woman. Of course, its not very adventorous, will not be identifyable as everyone else will be wearing it, but it will look good

However,

Depending upon skin colour, and hair colour, then truly stunning dresses can have an oriental theme...like a nice royal blue kinda thing, that kinda pearlesences (yah -try spellin that without lookin at a dictionary!) in the light, possibly with a light pattern overlayed on the fabric. Of course, hair tied back in a kinda bun at the back, with spikes of hair coming out in several angles tops it off ................erm, hmm - maybe i should be quiet now

its a matricfarewell, about the same as prom, it will be held at a 6 star hotel

Fd I'm not very big on excessories(that is spelled so wrong) I prefer as little as possible, at the rate this is going it looks like I will end up in black
