Calling to arms of all TLR netizens!
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I guess you haven't been there for a while now. I think it's safe to say, that #freelancer, is passing through the netherworlds now, on it's way to reincarnation, even I, frequent IRC visitor that I am, tend to find my good company somewhere else on Portalive, although, with the help of some of the spirited folks, It's being kept staffed and all, but it really needs new blood, and ofcourse, for the old blood to return, for it to really make a difference.
Tach I can insult and abuse any night in IRC
Wow, the mystery man shows his face. well, sorta.

Wow, the mystery man shows his face. well, sorta.

further,
Daft!
@Taw, yeah sort of, it has also been long since I have seen Chetters do a little broadcasting on ICQ. Last I heard he is enjoying his Hollies, somewhere in Serbia, and even that little tidbit of news was via via via, so chet if you read this, please contact me, I miss ya.
but on to MSN, in the last years, MSN has known an unprecedented growth, mostly due to contact between High schoolers, and MSN even had their own version of the IRC chats, which basicly was IRC in another Jacket with a few colour options and such, but due to increasing activity of Bloody Pedophiles over that particualr medium, it had to close down, But the messenger Variant is mostly popular under the young scholars, that, after school want a bit of chat with the m8s they last saw 5 mins before, basicly one step away of just shouting, and I think you noticed that too with your Daughter (<= speaking of idle gossip). the youngsters use it in no way as some of us use it, basicly to trancend the timezones and chat with people from the other side of the world.
Due to this popularity the old IRC chatrooms came in a kind of decay, like you'd normally see when a novelty wears off a certain product. IE the "fad" is gone, shame though, I met some really good people through IRC, and I will certainly keep using it as often as possible.
