Work Experience
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Well, its the end of the school year and I've been drafted by the school to participate in 'work experience'. I have to help in an Estate Agents til Friday now, at least I get to miss school.
Work experience? Meh, sick and tired of it. Actually, I already have more work to do than I can cope with (even if the official academic year is over [thank Satan). dunno what I'm doing here, it's probably 'cause I have more fun this way, even though it means working overnight to catch up.

I did work experience on a farm at one point. Believe me, if an office worker doesn't know how to put a student to work, a farmer does! When you got your break for lunch you'd go into the worker's shed eat your lunch and then before you knew it you'd fall asleep out of exhaustion.
Not bad for the physique though, I lost some flab, built up a little more muscle and on top of that I was able to teach myself the basics of driving in a tractor

Ah yes, work experience. I remember it well; ten days working at a Shire newspaper for five dollars a day. Back then, five dollars a day could buy you a cup of Earl Grey, some "Steak and Kidney" Pie, and provide enough change to allow you to visit the cinema and take a carriage home in the evening. Ah, where have the years gone?

I could swear that Taw said that practically word for word a little while ago while lamenting the end of small independent cinemas!
