Most of my friends are 'charvers' which is our local term for it. I'm a semi-charver as i've had both a charver and middle class upbringing. When i was younger we lived in a tennement flat near Glasgow and had an old banger Ford Sierra until my dad got promoted and his pay packet seriously increased, enough that we were able to buy a brand new house. This was when my dad worked in the shipyard before he joined the police. I like a lot of the things that are mentioned in the site and can relate to a lot of it. My family on my mums side are the biggest charvers you can get. My uncle is a drunk who is in hospital at the moment after a pub fight, his common law wife is scared sh*tless of him. My Grandpa is another drunk but has reformed. So i know what being a charver means it's not a nice life which im glad not to be a part of anymore

The italian name for them is "Tabbozzi". Of course the director of fast&furios, Swat, XXX, Torque, 2fast2furios(because he's the same person) must be one of them.
