IMO dentists are a bunch of quacks.

If it wasn't for our eating habits these days, sweets, we would not have much need of dentists. Irony, isn't it.

Uh... can I say: "eek!"?

I'm about to get braces in a month or two. (It was going to be June 1st, but I had a band concert the next day, so we had to reschedule).
There's all this complaining about how horrible braces are... and none of you play a brass instrument! (I think ) Least of all the instrument with the smallest mouthpiece...

Nope... not looking forward at all.

The way I figure it, the sooner you get them in, the sooner they come out. You just have to deal with it.

ehhhmmm... Esky,

Try having some fillings done without drugs; it's not a pleasant experience.
Errmmm, Every time I have a cavity they don't offer me drugs to get it fixed, I'm sure there on the other end of the world they think different, but here it ain't so

life, the Dumb dentist Just decided on a whim, that the
molar had to go, Dumbass, it was a "milk-tooth" but it had a
Root two inches long, i nearly had to have my Gums re-constructed
the root looked somewhat like this:

// // // //
All spiky and sharp, bleeding gums for days, grumble grumble....
i Must say that even after my braces i have had not one single
Cavity. give me a medal?

Aod gets a medal. Just keep up the work. Life time investment in your health. Teeth that go bad, lead to other health problems.

well people it all goes down tomorrow. i shall quote a famous australian in saying: 'I'M EXCITED!'

I just got my braces off for the THIRD time a few months back. And what am I rewarded with? Teeth that are worse then when they started and yet another set of ugly retainers that just make the problem worse. My dentist is just as bad. He will shove every instrument possible into my mouth and then ask me how some long lost relative of mine is doing and expect a multi-paragraph answer.

Esqy, as a matter of fact, this is standard practice for every Dentist here, don't give an anasthetic unless absolutely necessary, and they don't, they only give em with the absolutely necessary practices, like pulling a tooth or something like that, I haven't had a cavity for five years straight.
