I like to format every 3-4 months. Keeps my OS nice and trouble free

I istall soo much software for testing purposes somtimes they screw up windows.

I have my registry nice and customized, that part I used to HATE redoing! I ahve a TON of values pertaining to file extentions.

Used to takr about 8 hours to add all of that stuff back into my registry. So I just ended up making a reg file that is about 700 lines long with all my info

As for programs/files, I have a second hdd with imaged cds of everything installed on my computer. I also have most of my files on that second hdd and only use my first one for installed programs.

I just wish MS would let you download all the SP updates so it could be reinstalled easy. Yes, I know you can get them on a disk. And Yes, when SP2 comes out, I intend to order that one. worth the money to me.

Final - I think that you may have been right about that KOTOR patch. My trojan scanner picked up "OpenWaresIE" spyware when it scanned it. Very interesting. Possibly a false ID, but intriguing nonetheless.
