Waste of time

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Waste of time

I hate exams.
I started mine on Wednesday, computerstudy theory
The paper itself was a joke, I read through my work and answering the questions was easy as pie, exams that are like this is a waste of time. We started writng at 9 in the morning 3hour paper 200 marks, I took 1hr 15min to write, then I had to sit there for 1hr and 45mins doing nothing.. It sucks big time
I mean one of the questions in the general knowledge section: What is an email virus?
and then Is it illegal to email a virus to someone?

Then Thursday I wrote Afrikaans Literature and grammar
the lit was 90 mins, I didnt study at all, could do everything, finished in 45 mins(This was weird, I was sitting there nothing to do and all the other Gr12's was still writing, most actually wrote the whole time!)
Then we wrote the grammar, 150min paper, also extremely easy, finished in 90 mins, had to sit there for an hour, this time however I had an extra paper, used it to write the next chapter in FS(hihgly illegal) In the end it was all wrong and I couldnt use it.

You waste so much time.
Today's paper was math, 3hrs, wrote the whole time(your not suppose to finish or you're suppose to finish with a few seconds left)

I dont like exams, they're a waste of time! And being sick doesnt help

It could also say that you learned the lessons well. Which of course is a good thing.

I like exams because I always do well in them. But I don't like the wasting time element either. Last year we had a 2 hour latin exam, everyone was finished in about 40 minutes, so we were allowed to go. Other classes had to stay until the end

We are never allowed to leave early
I do well in most subjects, but that's not really mportant in anyway
I dont see the use in studying for subjects I dont like and won't use in the future

Generally the explanation for that is that the government reckons it's a commonly used skill and you might have to use it, so they teach you anyway. Still, you don't have to do them forever, education is only compulsory for so long

It was told to me once, its not so much WHAT you study as HOW you learn. The habits you develope in studying, stay with you many years. Even if you don't use algebra or earth science in the daily life, you keep the methods you learn by. Deductive reasoning, Inductive, excetera.

You couldn't leave? Back in my day, we couldn't leave exams until 15 minutes had elapsed. I used to finish all of my exams about an hour or two before time anyway .
