It's good news, but I agree with Indy. It's too bad that he wasn't convicted of the act of spamming, because it would have set an important precedent for future convictions.

Any spammer can get out of the spam aspect, but going after something more tangable helps and they can hurt they monitarily which helps. So a technicality is helpful.
