What is History?
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

History is your life and how you live it. Will people remember it and what you did?An hstorical moment when orville and wilbur wanted to fly, or, when people were around when a paper was signed, called the declaration of independence, or at the green tavern when the "shot that was heard around the world". History is so many things, big and small.
Our current question is : History is full of lossers and winners but it is the winners who make history. Discuss Sorry for the spelling, but my teacher is irish!
Revisionist history or postmodernist history - they're both terrible. We've been studying historiography, and it's really good. I just find it disappointing that postmodernists criticise history, even thought they aren't even historians! It's like the butcher criticising the carpenter, and saying it could be done better, and that whatever the carpenter tries to do, is going to be wrong, because history itself is simply bunk.
Taw, is there anything you don't know something about?

"yeh" is the answer because my sig would clearly be my sig (and some obscure indie lyric in all probability)
but to expand..
yes, there are many many things I know little or nothing about, and don't even have an opinion on, and usually don't even care. However the things I do know about and/or have an interest in, I do know a lot about.
better?
..thank you frailty, thank you consequence, thank you thank you silence..

i'm more than satisfied
however, back OT, i have to say i like the way you guys think. i'm sick of people i know saying history is just dead and boring - whereas, history is not as simple as "his story", it's simultaneously one of the most alive and dead (as in the past) subjects ever.
indeed, as VH16 said "The person's personal biases and interpretations should be noted" - we shouldn't take history or anything as being perfectly true - there is inherent bias in everything (even in the evening news - they wouldn't be reporting something if there was no point, and then they're going to try to prove it)
i stole the cookie from the cookie jar
EDIT : and what's indie? music?
