It's interesting how many of these "Who still plays FL?" threads that we end up having isn't it?

@Chips: I'm a heathen, eh? I'll take that as a complement. It's just that I've played the game dozens of times. I got to the point where I said, "Enough's enough." I'll probably reinstall it later, when I finally realize I miss it, but for now, it stays off. If I don't play a game for months on end, it becomes a digital paperweight. I have no use for paperweights of any sort.

i play FL about every other day or so, but iam waiting on the FLRebalance 3.5 mod deal. just wondering, when is it supose to come out and when are you guys going to get your downloads page back up. everything shifted to the leftand there isnt any downloads posted. but ya i mainly place rebalance since the other big mods dont work on my laptop.

I've been playing TotalWar and the game is suckin' me right back in. Good environment to fly in.

Its been off my computer for so long. Im a multiplayer person, and I really cant find many, actually POPULATED servers anymore. Its really sad, what I really wanted to do was grab FL and make a run for another perfect outlaw setup with the sabre and all. I would really really love to make another run at it but the one server I did find that was really good got shutdown shortly after I started. If I can find another good one I am actually thinking about starting to play it again like i used to.

PS: I dont play mods, never did, never will, dont know why, I know a lot of work goes into them but I just dont like mods. The only mod i EVER played was Dee2ire for Red Alert 2, and that screwed up the game shortly thereafter, hence why i never play mods anymore.

I uninstalled it a couple of months ago after playing it solidly for a year. I have no doubt in my mind though that at some point I'll reinstall it and do the whole shabang again.

Great game, but times are a'changing.
