@Cookiemonster: You're refering to my Sig? 2nd Amendment, US Bill of Rights: The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Basically, means you're allowed to have weapons.

"Here I am, enjoying my 2nd Amendment rights, and you people have to freak out on me."

Post Mon May 31, 2004 8:28 am

that would be American English from your use of the term "kicked ass," I take it? Is there an American school in Shrewsbury then?

..how about getting me off these antibiotics..

*Shakes head* Indeed, Taw. Damn proliferation of American English . Hmm, perhaps Arcon is trying to be colloquial .

History for me as well. Although I now wish I'd taken something like geology or astronomy as well.

Post Mon May 31, 2004 8:22 pm

You can take astronomy? Unfair!

Tell me about it. They didn't offer anything decent at my old school. In fact, they introduced Italian to Years 4,5, and 6, and refurbished the classrooms just after I left Primary, and then they introduced Literature in Years 9 and 10, just after I entered the final two years of my schooling. I guess that I should have stayed back a year or two, eh?

We're talking college levels. High school, we had an astronomy club but that pretty much was for the pocket protector set.... which I wasn't part of at the time. Too busy trying to be cool.

I was good at maths so I enjoyed it...but it wasn't my favourite.

My favourites were computer science, philosophy, psychology, art, and computer-aided design. English was also a big favourite of mine....as was Archery.

I hated French. Unsurprisingly I still do
