Well, I guess if you have enough money to build a computer to play it, then you have enough money to buy that., even if it is twice the price of a normal game.

If they think that I'm going to pay full price, they are mistaken. Hmm, that comes to... $84 Aus. That's cheaper than most new releases which are only $89.95. Hmm, I bet that they'll jack up the price here in Aus. and it'll be at least $99.95. There's no way in hell (pun intended) that I'm paying that!

I buy them when they go down to a nice price of about $50 AU (if they were good popular games) or $20-30 (if they weren't) after a month or so they all do.

Both my australian software haunts have it slated for a 30th of July release. Not that I give a rats, I reckon the game will be complete podge. Big guns and demons, pfft, wake me up when I might give a damn.

Im glad im not the only one not too impressed with it. Its the continuation of a game that technically started FPS's, but theres no reason that it was so popular back then that it would be for another round. FPS have evolved over time since the last doom and theres nothing saying that the third one will be the greatest after all this time. Great graphics, sure, but like every other game it will have you gasping and gawking for a little while then we move on. So most games now are attempting great gameplay, and how interesting can a survival horror FPS be with demons and stuff. I will buy it if it actually turns out to be worth it but for now, personally I think even a game like Painkiller looks slightly more interesting.

Pft, try HL2, they say the release date is "this summer" ..... which could be anywhere in the next couple of months.

It doesn't bother me when D3 is released, but the bloody creators of D3 and HL2 have been stringing us along for far too long. As I've said before, it's enough to make you "go pirate" .

good point comont...but i guess the enhancements in graphics is what is making that came more appealing to the FPS community...not saying i am not getting it i have this bad horror fetish...like horro flicks, games and anime's....so it is just going to be added to my collection....

as to your comment about game play...you are DAMN SKIPPY!! my personal belief is that its all about the gameplay, story, graphics and finally sounds.
