This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I had a reputation for being the idiot with the demo that got it to work just like the full game using only the files that came with the demo.

Mustang - I said that! Well, pretty much; that's why we should call him "Loopy" .

some wannabee hacker (mustve been about 10) once said he'd get me for something I said about his fav popstar and published what he thought was my IP address on the web and said I was top of "the hackers ****list" - IP address of, 127.0.0.1. You can imagine that I was pissing myself (with laughter not fear)

So many have tried over the years and all have failed. i don't think that's cos I'm particularly good, but because the quality of "h4xx0rx" is declining rapidly to the point where its nothing but a name and a script off their schoolchums. Still they keep me in work.

Taw - Yeah, those bloody "script-kiddies" are hacks (in the bad way ). Most of the "hackers" these days just grab some malicious code off a site and release it without understanding what it does.

I was just thinking that it would have been funny to watch that guy try to hack you himself Taw. He could SSH into 127.0.0.1 and then delete "your" HDD. THAT would have been hilarious .

amateurs with attitude are always good for a laugh at least.

Yup, they play a bloody dangerous little game too. Complete anonimity is a very hard thing to achieve. I certainly would'nt want to take on some of the internet cops out there.

Aha! Caught you now! You see how I have subtly and tactically steered this conversation to something completely irrelevant to the topic?

Not that I'm criticising, bien sur, this is very interesting, err.. do continue

We're are not going to be continuing TET; that's why we haven't posted anything further. Did you think that we'd run out of things to say?
