Interesting article. I have found that the Beeb and some written British publications offer more interesting editorial outlook on news that we take for granted or only are able to get regurgitated to us in the same formulaic way here in the US.

Did anyone see that report that Playing violent FPS games improves ur driving skills, because they make you be able to recognized up to ten moving objects without counting as apossed to 3,

Ya I heard about that. Then theres some more stuff I heard, playing FPS games improves reflexes. I even heard somewhere that gaming gives gamers a rush thats almost identical to a athlete. Anyway yeah, well, doing anything for extended periods of time always has an after-effect, be it good or bad, figures games also have some.

also, if you ever go into surgery and have a chance to speak with the surgeon, ask the doc what video games he/she plays. The surgeons that play games that involve the most multi-tasking elements and eye-hand coordination are better in surgery, more efficient, detail oriented, and much quicker.

Yeah, I learned to pilot a Starflier, a Patriot, a Defender and meany others. Very useful in real life

Meh, games teach us many things. Especially "SC: Pandora Tomorrow" from all reports; It teaches us that, *eyes glaze* Ericsson are the best!
