British Cinemas finally go Digital...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

you will live in the materialistic South, after all. Come to the warmth and humour of the North where a smile and an oatcake greet you. I escaped from Kent after an enforced stay and will never move to the South/South East again.

I'll probably be living in Nottingham from October, I'm not so sure about the warmth of the north though. I'll admit whenever I've been in the North I haven't seen as many people with the sort of agressive attitude that people put on when they're walking about in London. It's like half the people here walk around looking at the floor trying to avoid eye contact and the other half walk around trying to dare you to stare back at them. Honestly, the other day I just said a friendly good morning to a stranger visiting my neighbour as I left for a bike ride. He looked so shocked it was as if I'd flashed at him!

yay! Notts is only down the A50, it's a whole hours drive away! You won't regret it.

..you shut your mouth, how can you say, I go about things the wrong way..

Notts is a wonderful town...although the 3-1 women to men ratio is unfortunately not true

ooof, now there's a toughie....*checks hand*...ok, you guys have asked for this, I'm going all in with a Wigan.

Interesting how so many of these threads devolve into geographic contests involving confined areas in England. Much is learned of place names and things, nothing is learned of what, where or why they are talked about.

It's always the Brits Indy. You don't hear Viator and myself arguing about how the cinemas at "Crown Casino" in Melbourne are better than those in Russell Street do you?

we can't help it you know, we're parochial by nature, class-obsessed even if we don't like to admit it and can only make small-talk, generally about the weather.

as to Gromit's escalation by upping his stake to "Wigan" I 'll see your Wigan with a Burnley, then raise you with a Sandwell & Dudley/Tipton straight You'll need a Tyne & Wear or even a fabled "Royston Vasey" to beat that.
