motor what ?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

here's a bit of food for thought:
[img http://www.terrawind.com/TERRAGE1.JPG
say a truck was moving with its back open at 70 miles an hour, and you were in a car. Could you drive into the back of the truck successfully? And how about driving OUT of the truck that was moving at 70 miles an hour?

I love the idea of the "garage" in the back... very "Knight Rider"

Post Fri May 14, 2004 5:51 am

well, I think that you would have to have a powerful rear wheel drive car to enter or exit a moving garage.

"On this ship you are to refer to me as Idiot, not you Captain. I mean... you know what I mean."

actually i suspect a front wheel drive would be better to attempt that trick
either way it would be pretty near suicidal go check out the original italian job film for a look at a similar trick
when taking the car out for a spin youd better be sure you were on land too
havent heard any comments on the interior spec yet but id be happy to live in it

@Arcon,

I've seen a stunt attempt to do those things. I remember that getting off the back was in relative comparison, less complicated. The car was a manual transmission type car and as I remember the voice over, it was free wheeled backward and down with the clutch in full. Even then the front wheels caused a bit of a problem when they touched pavement as their rotations were not fast enough.

Also, I think they were going slower than 70mph.

The driving up and on was more difficult because of the speed of rotation of the drive wheels. It had to, again free wheel up the ramp and then then braked. I think the truck was only going about 40mph.

It was one of those record stunt tv shows, about two years ago.

"A TopGun through and through"

as it is cool and it can float....but what if it tips over? i kinda noticed how it is leaning to the side as it is in the water, what if a boat zoomed by and gave it all it needed to tip?

@Arcon: That pic, 4500x2609 @ 780kB = ouch...

@wolfie the specs state it is stable with a low centre of gravity but also if for example the weather got bad ie rough water there are rapid deployment "stabilisers" bit like waterwings
