I'm sorry to disappoint you, but a ship cannot "Kick Butt" as it doesn't have any legs or feet (even if it had, it couldn't move them, not in FL anyway)...

Mmm, it DOES look kind of chickeny; you could call it the "Astro-Chicken" perhaps . Seriously, great work, I hope that I can do that well when I figure out how to use 3DS (and pick up a full version ).

@esq u can download a 30 day trial of 3ds Max 6, which i would use but its not backwards compatible with Max 5.1 which is installed at school.

That is very good. I'd like to learn to do that stuff as I have had an idea for my own little ship mod for FL now but I cannot get the hang of it.... altho DrizzT4's tutorial is the closest yet to getting me there.

It's the coloring of your ship for me that doesn't quite fit. Were you to change the skin, is it? Change it to something more battleship grey-ish, its presence would seem more massive.

But I think the deck light / cockpit cover is too large too. Ships helmsmen won't be looking through a window to navigate anyway.

@esq yeah i am looking for the same.

@indy well i did say its a little rushed in the texture department.

edit: well your comments r inspiring and for a novice who has just scratched the surface of 3ds max i say its pretty good, also i used the textures (including the background) that come with max, which is very limited in choice.

EDIT: EWWW Photobucket.com messed it up it used to look awesome so much awesome that it cant be in a mod because its made up of so much polys it would freeze the game

EDIT2: Aha go to this www.fallen-universe.tk I quit the mod team but I still have my ships on there. Go to screenshots and look at the TIEs

What? I took a screenshot I dont do normal art. Only pure 3d models no backgrounds and stuff.
