Here is a very interesting article that might make you (and should make you) leery of installing Kazaa Lite Plus. Apparently it installs some very nasty spyware called extortionware because you have to pay the creators to have it removed. If you install the aforementioned program now.... *shakes head*

Not for K++ its for the original KaZaa media desktop K++ is illegal becaue its considered Warez because it removed the spyware and stuff for the original KaZaa that made Sharman get money.

I still like kazaa. Sure, you get a lot of spyware and crap, but you get so much more in return. Where else could you find the techno version of the East German National Anthem? --- vh16

good for me, i have Kazaa Lite K++. the installer needs not to download anything for it to work anyway. i still think that they are dumbasses and dont know how to fix their damned (i mean "good4me"

I was wondering why I couldn't uninstall Kazaa off my old computer. But it didn't matter to me, I trashed the computer anyway. I have no intention of installing anything of the sort on this one.

hell, i havent bothered to uninstall kazaa after i found the loophole to get kazaa lite k++. all i did was get rid of all the spyware i had to have on my computer in order to run kazaa

Kazaa lite or Kazaa Original, you get screwed if you install this crapware. WinMX is the best way. It doesn't install spyware, extortionware or any other crap like that. It's completely free, too. Besides, Kazaa's slower than hell.

I dont use KaZaa I use eMule its so much better. Shareaza is eMule and Gnutella and Bittorrent but I dont like it because it doesnt seem to work as well and Gnutella is watched by FBI now.

EDIT: not that I DL illegal stuff but I like my privacy.
