Looking for a Font

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

<enter the font nerd, stage left>

Thats one of my favourite fonts Its a Benton (Morris Fuller Benton was the designer) and a classic. Its been around since the first world war. He created a couple of my favourite fonts - "Franklin Gothic" (a nice Helvetica Bold alternative), "Century Oldstyle" (a nice Times alternative) and "Alternate Gothic", a font that looks better today that it ever did in the past.

However, if you are looking for fonts for flash, you need to be looking at Pixel Fonts to preserve quality - have a look here

I can lend you a hand with photoshop and/or flash, but please limit your requests to the forums and NOT to my email addy (I'm having spam problems at the moment so its likely your address will get blocked in my mass blocking campaign )

Angency says it all. It's a FBI font, anyone caught passing it on or using it will be hunted down. Maybe not.

I have had it for so long, I don't remember where it came from, though I suspect Word Perfect. I just decided to keep all the fonts on a disk so I would not have to dig them up again. The klingon ones are killer.

While on the topic of fonts, does the font for star trek come standard with MS word? It's been really bothering me lately for some reason. Any help would be greately appreciated. --- VH16

Whoever came up with "Mission Commision" should be lined up and shot

I really worry about you sometimes Grom.

unappreciative antipodean, the choice of typeface is a critical one for a designer. I rather like Gill Sans Serif myself, but then I admire anything designed by Eric Ravilious. Take no notice, grom, you keep crayoning away.
