I believe that, outside of the British Isles (including the Republic of Ireland) everyone in Western Europe drives on the same side of the road as we do in the States.

At least that's what I've seen when I've driven there.

actually no its we who are in the right on the left because we invented cars and petrol and tyres and roads therefore we have right of provenance. In fact strictly speaking your roads are our roads anyway, are they not? so get back on the correct side of the road please.

It takes a backwards culture to lose its control of its own colony. It takes a forward looking culture to improve on the faults of its former ruler. You created the car and roads to handle them, we improved the system.

Eons ago I heard a bit of driving humor. The English drive on the left, the French on the right, and the Italians drive on any side. Saw it first hand in 1976. Little fiats zipping all over the place. Course, now and here, You get the crazy folk driving 70 MPH North on the south bound side of the freeway. Always leads to a BANG!.

For the person who asked what yellow is, it means "caution." It does NOT mean speed up OR slam on your brakes, even though around where I live that happens a lot.

yeah that happens in my area a lot in fact the school bus i ride was hit by a minivan a while back the van was a loss, no one hurt in the wreck
