definition of lunacy ?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I read this website about a month ago and found it fascinating. Correct me if I'm wrong - but I'm sure its a woman and not a man.

She is crazy, but its one of the best net reads I've seen in a while...

yes it is a woman that should have read her not his

I don't know if she's quite as crazy as you would think. If you consider her life in the context in which it has been handed to her, she didn't choose to be born so close to what probably is the worst civilian nuclear disaster, ever. Whether she zooms through Chernobyl or not, she already may be damaged permanently by the radioactive pollution in the area.

She is able to try to turn something disastrously tragic into something which she finds beautiful. Her naivety also shows through. e.g. Roads will last forever... obviously not aware of the fact that the seasonal thermal fluctuation over time will reduce the road surface into many small spider's-web like fissures and then larger cracks as the "little blades of grass" do their thing at every opening they find.

I think this site is a testament to the adaptive nature of humans. Altho, that she owns a Kawasaki Ninja says a lot about her financial wherewithal, I'd say.

Must really want to glow in the dark. Other wise, why do it. I may burn my hand once, but I will not keep it in the fire.

Thats a very kool page. I enjoyed reading it very much. And I wouldn't call her a loony, I think she knows what she's doing.

On the other hand, if I did it, yes, I would be a loony.

well she seems to know her stuff,
as long as she keeps a geiger counter
around with her, she should be fine

Post Tue May 04, 2004 10:26 am

to be honest my biggest worry was her entering buildings that had not been maintained in 2 decades
ie if you became stuck there is no help just you and the radiation

Post Tue May 04, 2004 10:36 am

If you think about it though, there's the same risk in something like potholing - and caves aren't maintained at all, but your fate is the same should you get trapped...

allbeit without the funky green glow

Post Tue May 04, 2004 11:38 am

Well, I definatly wouldn't want to be stuck without fuel in the middle of Chernoybl.

Post Tue May 04, 2004 11:58 am

Don't worry - there's lots of fuel all over Chernobyl...I thought that was the whole problem

I wonder if she ends up with a green bike afterwards?
