Beer-Lovers Take Note

This is for all of you beer-lovers (most people on TLR ) the Self-Chilling Beer Can! Just thought I'd mention it for all of you lazy drinkers out there (most of the people on TLR again ).

Product homepage is here.

SWEET! There's nothing worse than warm beer. Of course, I think this is for the lazy bastards who can't bother to put their beer in the fridge when they get home.

There's nothing worse than warm beer!?!? What are you saying? The Brits love it that way!

Probably not a bad idea for those without ice or a fridge. I could definately see the benefit in these for military rations or even just supplies, the ability to supply a soldier with a cold drink wherever he is would be a definate morale booster.

this is the vacuum flask beer can? I haven't even followed the linky, I saw it the other day on some website. I dont think I'll be bothering, I drink from bottles not cans.

eskie, i dont drink

No it's not Taw, it's like an ice pack that you crack to start it cooling. It uses an endothermic reaction to bring the temp. right down.

ff - You don't drink? Your point being... ? The topic specifically says "Beer-Lovers Take Note", not "Tea-Totallers Take Note" .

sounds like those self heating cans of coffee that were popular for a couple of weeks three years ago but in reverse i would imagine the cost would be the drawback
now a self filling can would be very much more appealing

The company make self-heating stuff too, Steel. Same people?

Hey, the two above posts (Steel's and mine) were submitted at the same time. Freaky .

probably the same manufacturer
in the uk the coffee was nescafe(nestle) but i dont know where they got the containers from as i havent seen one for a while
they were always dissappointing as you thought you had more left when you finished them, due to the heating gubbins at the bottom

Beer, I'd give anything for a nice cold beer right now

Well that wouldn't bode well when you get to the end of a sixer and you think you've still got half a can left only to discover you were wrong.....now that'd be heartbreaking.

Wasn't this on a show called Tommorrows World like...3 years ago?
Or was that a self-chilling beer mug ...
