Smoking Under the Bleachers

Why is it that's the way I feel every time I click on the Off Topic link? It feels like I'm back in high school and I've been hanging out with my "normal", "good student" friends in the General Editing forum, when I see that link, the kids smoking under the bleachers, and I just have to go over and give it a try. I mean right now I should be working on making two mods compatible like I promised someone, instead I'm in here "skipping class".

Are you all a bad influence? The delinquents of TLR?

It's not really a bad influence, I mean - on one hand, you could do some modding. On the other, you could post here. It's not exactly as if the forum has to coax you into doing it

This makes you think, are we a bad influence on the rest of TLR, or is the rest of the site too good of an influence?

Here's another thing: For some people, we are the heart of TLR. I came here for the FL help and rarely play FL anymore. I prefer Edward Grabowsi's The Blue and The Gray (1994 Turn-based strategy) at the moment.

what does "bleachers" mean? I know what you mean by"smoking under the bleachers" as a metaphor, but i don't know the reference?
