At least I think it was you who told me t ogo and buy a Radeon instead of Nvidia. I bought the 9600XT for only £108! This graphics I get are amazing compared to the Geforce 2. Thanks.
The only bad thing is that the HL2 voucher it can with says: "Please allow 4-6 weeks for dilivery". People will have beaten it by then!

. There's only one problem... there are rumours, I repeat rumours, that HL2 will not be ready until next year. Still, I doubt the veracity of these statements, so I wouldn't worry too much. Enjoy the wonders of modern graphical technology!

The point would be that at least a dozen have pushed ATI cards on this forum. But OF COURSE, Esqy gets the credit. Ask Esqy, he'll tell you. He knows everything....

Actually, I fully intended to mention my learned colleagues, but I decided to wait and see if Taw and Mustang would post in this thread, especially since they are my superiors both on TLR, and in technical experience. I knew Taw would take the bait!

As for me taking all of the credit, it's not my fault that I'm more memorable than you are Taw

Seriously, thanks Blaze, but Mustang and Taw (and a few others) said exactly the same thing (actually, I think Mustang reccommended an nV card

), so they also deserve credit for your new-found of graphical power

Nah, I fully recommend Ati's at the moment. When and if Nvidia produce a superior architechture I'll be back on their bandwagon. The 9600 is the best bang for your buckaroonies at the moment though, definately a worthy purchase.
