If you want to discuss Politics, Religion, War or Sexuality.

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Howdy peoples,
I know this thread will probably be shut down, but what the hey.
As in a previous thread, i have said that I have set up a Forum for anyone on TLR, (or anywhere else, for that matter) to discuss Matters that are not allowed on TLR. However, i just want to add: I will NOT tolereate any immature behaviour, or any form of insensitive crp. It is a forum where you can rationally discuss subjects not allowed at TLR.

Maybe not, this thread has already survived a whole 16 1/2 hours unscathed

This thread might be good stickied but if it doesn't there are plenty more fish in the sea and anyone with a powerful political swing would probably have found some (hopefully interesting) political discussion forum.

Perhaps those who have found forums similar to this will post their addresses for those of us who can't be bothered to search? e.g. me

I don't know, Viator. Arguments between TLR members on such a forum could (and probably would) bleed across into the TLR forums. It's a generous offer though.

Yeah I'm afraid of that too, a piece of advice, don't feel insulted if a lot people don't sign up or post, they just don't want a conlfict if they have one there to be transported here.

Then again, we could have an Emily Litella thread. Someone posts up a topic that is in the current news but not quite right and everyone else joins in to bend the topic into as many different contortions as possible.

<Edit>

*Looks off at mods and squints*

Eh? What? Oh. We already do that? Never mind.

Interesting concept, ill keep a eye on it and see if you can avoid the flame wars. Once its been proved peaceful i may voice a few of my thoughts there, nice idea.

I think it is a dangerous idea. Forums should not allow anyone to take someone's thread and just say whatever they please. Threads should be kept on subject at all times. Discussions start off slowly, then a flurry of interactions would take place, whence followed by a dropping off of interest.

I would not mind "Talking" about some subjects, but not discussing or arguing. That acomplishes nothing. Even when it comes to computers, arguing does not presade that celeron is worse than P4. Neither is listening then. Oh well
