Holden V.S Fords
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

The epic battle still happens in todays society, then which one is it? HOLDEN or FORD? What are your thoughts?
O.K., you've got my interest. Now what are you talking about?
Edit = I sense a story. Spill. What battle? What society? Who are the Holden's and who are the Fords?
My God! I just checked to see what part of the world you're from. You've managed 53 posts in less than 6 hours?

Kae - I know, he's been posting in every thread. Not a good sign...
Tero - I doubt that many people know much about Australian cars here on TLR, so I wouldn't bother asking. Prove me wrong though, TLR! Mustang might have an opinion.. and Indy... and Taw.. those last two have an opinion on everything!

I hate to inform you Teronium, but the holden is sold in very few countries outside of Australia. You poms might know the HSV (which is being sold in relatively low numbers) and you yanks might have seen the new GTO which is a rebadged (+ redone body kit) of our Holden Monaro (produced in my home town I might add). Apart from that Holden make up the wonderful world of General Motors. In case you don't know GM produces your Vauxhauls, Opels, Buicks, Caddys, Chevs, Pontiacs, Saabs, Oldmobiles, Hummers (and who doesn't love them), Saturns and of course your Holdens. I may have missed a few brands there, but you get the gist.
What Teronium is getting at here is that Australian's have a traditional school yard question posed to many a youngin about there preference of Automobile, the Ford or the Holden? The incorrect answer would result in a severe beating by the local school yard bully.
However considering I am the Forum Bully and the fact that I drive a Holden, I know what you are all going to answer! Right!

LOL
That's very funny. Now you see, that's really what NASCAR is all about. It is the war between the Big Three....er, Big Two and Medium 1. Ford had, for many years dominated in NASCAR racing. Recently, the GM makes, Buick, Pontiac and Chevy and formerly Oldsmobile, have prevailed somewhat more often.
Off in the wings, Chrysler is mounting a comeback attempt. I don't know if it is reduced to fisticuffs in the schoolyard but there are some rather heated debates in the saloons about it.
Holden.... I guess the name can grow on you ... but... Holden what? A can of oil?
