SW Episode 2

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Star Wars Episode 2? I thought it just went 4, 5, 6 and the rest were just cheap knockoffs.

Actually I don't like either of the new ones, they're way too predictable and you can practically figure out what's gonna happen. Not enough action either.

Signature? What's that?

My favorite part of Episode 2 was seeing Yoda wield a lightsaber. i didn't think the movie was that great, but I like Star Wars too much to hate it completely.

George Lucas needs to hire scriptwriters, he did for the first 3 movies that came out, but for episode 2 he didn't, which is why the script sucked so hard.

I didn't like the Yoda saber fight. It was, "meh, twhatever"

Life: No one gets out alive.

The whole Yoda battle was a bit of a let down for me, because they took a serious character and threw him into a comic-relief scene. I felt that Yoda deserved better.

Mmm, does that whole paragraph sound really weird, or is it just me?

You gotta admit anything involving Yoda and a lightsaber is going to come off as comic relief.

Yeah, the Yoda lightsaber scene was a fair bit crap.
Before scene: Canr-bearing cripple that gives 'wise' comments
During scene: Levitating craky-warrior
After Scene: Back to the old cane again...

a bit of a quick transition dont you think?

Sorry but I like the new ones. The Yoda bit was funny, but he isn't meant to be funny.

@Blazeme- er... are we talking about the same Yoda here?
The same short, green, big-eared, nonsensical comment making Yoda?

@Blaze, yeah he was hilarious in Empire. "Mine, mine, mine!" "How get you so big eating food of this kind?"

I dont know what your talking about, cuz I think Yoda rips it up in the lightsaber duel.

I'm saying that Lucas demeaned Yoda's character by putting him in a comic relief sketch. Yeah, yeah, we all know I'm crazy!

I agree with spinnaker Yoda was kicking ass in the lightsabre scene...it should have been longer though. IMO the new movies aren't as good because Lucas is doing what he thinks will make people happy (all types of people not just fans), in the old movies he didn't have to make the movies for anyone but himself, which is why they were better. Now he probably has a bunch of people around him giving him bad advice as to what people will and won't like. Also in the old movies he was very fortunate to get a great cast of actors.

I thought the scene with Yoda fighting was funny

I really can't wait for Episode 3. Apparently Chewie's in it.
