NASA Vs. Einstein

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

NASA Vs. Einstein

There is an interesting article up at NASA.com. Essentially, they are attempting to debunk some of Einstein's Theories, and develop "The Theory of Everything". Good luck .

I have a theory of everything, course none of you will like it

I think that by the time we can prove this or any definition of how the universe works we'll all die after somthing explodes, or dark matter rips us apart, or we so over populated that the earth expands at the speed of light or soem other catostrophic event that kills every thing or totaly sets us back to the prehistoric age.

old news I suppose by the theory of everything they are talking about the superstring theory....and they aren't saying Einstien was wrong, just modifying his theories and quantum mechanics to be compatible with each other.

*waits for tawakalna to correct me*

Griff - Superstring theory is part of it, but they want a unified theory for the laws of physics.

If anyone finds out what the universe is, and what it is for, it will cease to exist and be replaced by something infinitley more complicated and inexplicable. -Resturaunt at the end of the Universe, Hitchikers guide to the galaxy series.

*gets out soap box, adjustess it, climbs up*

NASA should be cut in half. The money could be better spent on any number of Things. The Shuttles are aged and need replacement at th cost of multi millions. They do not have adiquate safety measures in place. Yet they want to teach us science and rewrite things? Thanks, but no thanks. Let Einstein be. Man only finds out what has been in place for millinia. And we still ain't figured out how to get along. Amazing isn't it.

I gather that by "Theory-of-everything" He means the Ever so elusive unified field Theory.

Or just the Theory of Common Relativity...
