Taw - If you have to ask... . You English! Some of us dislike chunks of fat wrapped up in an intestinal casing surrounded by congealed blood. Still, if you're in to that sort of thing, rock on!

Arcon - Taw asked; don't blame me! I "tell it like it is" as they say . Actually, a relative gave me some when I was about five or six... *shudder* it's vile stuff.

lovely actually, just had 4 slices cooked in lard with bacon and 2 runny eggs <yum>

Post Mon Mar 29, 2004 6:49 pm

....where to start.

@Taw and Carnevale - black pudding, first time ive heard of it and hopefully will never see it in my life, doesnt sound the least bit tasty.

@Finalday - we took a boat out for a day of fishing, definately well worth the money. Stripped Sea Bass and Grupper are the best fish to try to catch. They can both put up a pretty good fight.

@Arcon - I couldnt agree more, my turkey and noodles didnt look as tasty after I heard congealed blood and intestines

@ taw did you not have some really greasy fried bread to go with that

@Matt, you make me want to go deep sea fishing again. Last time was about 9 years ago. Caught a lot of trigger fish and some daulphin. All were good eating. I miss the ocean. Welcome back.

<Pun>"Daulphin"?!? Where were you fishing? Marseilles </Pun>

Post Tue Mar 30, 2004 3:14 pm

Actually, it was in Destin Florida. The company I worked for a the time payed for a fishing trip. These daulphin, don't know about the spelling, were about 8 lbs and about 16 inch long. The triggers are all over the place in the Gulf of Mexico. I would love to get some more, as stores don't usually carry these. Ahh those were the days...
