a one christian koener sent it to me.....

i reconized the email from when he emailed me long ago the subject 'wolv good ha!'

there is always a download file so beware and delete!

Wow, spoofing. How inventive. This guy (or worm) must be REALLY sophisticated!

Either way spoofs are bloody annoying, I just got three emails abusing me for sending out a virus. I was absolutely horrified to be accused of such a thing, not from MY machine! I run a tight ship thank you very much.

I got one from sS yesterday - I even posted a thread on it to find out if this was for real or a virus. Been informed, deleted the message. Looks like this thing is seriously hooked on TLR...

@Steel, nasty little thing isn't it? Glad it only went to my html email site. So far that is the only vulnerable thing to this Lancer's Reactor plague of email viruses lately.

You know, I wonder if the person behind these may be the same as the Microsoft Hoax creator with regards to Starfyre.

Same mentality at least but what are the odds to it being the same person? I wonder what the axe is that needs grinding if that's the case.

@SS & indy this appears to be a more general problem than the starfyre hoax
as it leaves a port open for the author i would assume that a dos attack on some unfortunate is the ultimate goal (probably ,if you believe what you read,this will occur if money doesnt change hands)

While it is possible that some person is spoofing other people's addresses, it is just a likely that someone here has been infected with Bagle, and that it has scanned their address book and sent out copies of itself using the host's email address. That's what worms do.

that would probably be me i got numerouse bagle infected viruses and deleted them
