@ belvir it probably does deserve such a high rating it was a very good game and unlike any other i have very rarely come across anyone who disliked it though many would not pick it as thier favourite ever, plus its as addictive as hell

it is a great game, and very addicting, but for me, not as addicting as Civ3.
