Weather?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

*Mental note: I better post something about the weather so that I can fit in * Ahem, the weather in Melbourne is quite perplexing. While it is technically Autumn, the mornings have been getting a bit chilly, but the days have been in the mid twenties. Damn Melbourne weather; "Most Liveable City" indeed!

Starting to get hot here in Tucson. 89 degrees today. Hope the 100's don't start too early. I remember one year when they started in April.

I'm just ticked you folks with the snow still get to enjoy it. I've had to suffer through 2, yes 2 days with nothing but sunshine and 72F deg days. I am Miserable.

I would kill for it to be 89F here in Ohio...

Alright, Just Sunday i was out in a short-sleeve shirt and no coat playing baseball with the neighbors, now there's a half-foot of snow on the ground and all schools are closed.... except the stupid Columbus Public Schools. I hate my district, all the suburbs close, but the urban schools keep on going.

Eh_Steve, you should be getting your wish of warmer temps. It got Ga. up to 78F today and I got burnt. Both arms and the back of my k=neck look like a cooked lobster. Building a big gate in the sun is no fun

Yeah, yesterday it hit 72F, I was out playin catch all day. Today it's gonna be 71 but rainy. To steal a line from the movie Jumanji:
"A little rain never hurt nobody."
"Yeah, but a lot can kill ya."

Final - Bah! I had to rip out a large tree yesterday, and then cut it up in to small pieces with a rusty saw. Take that!

All right Esq, the *gate* was 81 inchs tall, buy 18 feet long. It was divided in half at 9 feet and one secton was hindged to fold back to the post, and the other to open in one piece. It weighed about 475lbs when complete. And took one day to get mounted and half a second day to put the 1x6's on the front. That was how I got burnt. Though I burn easy anyway.

I think I've kind of got used to British weather. Oh who am I kidding, you never get used to it...
I've realised why Britain produces so many explorers- they travel across the world, knowing that no matter how bad it gets, it's better than Britain.
