Whats your favorite trilogy?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Whats your favorite trilogy?

Whatever trilogy it may be, Star Wars, Star Trek, LOTR, Warhammer, Dungeons and Dragons, yes your allowed to choose more than one

My favorite has to be LOTR, though I havent really gotten into it, I just really like the last three movies. And then I really really like Dungeons And Dragons, but only so far as that I really love Neverwinter Nights. So those have to be my two favorites. List your own now

My favorite trilogies are:

1. The Godfather Trilogy > still truly amazing and my #1 trilogy!

2. The Lord of the Rings > really thrilling to see the books come alive (and no, i didn't mind it was not always accurate. It was done with good reasons and films are not books and books are not films, so comparisons are just plain stupid. I just love these movies!)

3. The Star Wars Trilogy > I'm talking about the original trilogy here. I found the prequels entertaining and I didn't want to miss them as a Star Wars fanatic, but nothing beats the magic of the classical episodes IV, V and VI (can't wait till they hit the shelves on DVD in September!)

4. The Matrix Trilogy > though I must say the two prequels didn't quite match up the excitement I felt when I first saw the Matrix and the fact that the sequels where more about visual effects than character development and storyline, I did found them quite entertaining and thrilling to see.

5, 6 and 7 are saved up for the Indiana Jones Trilogy, the Back to the Future Trilogy and the Aliens Quadrilogy (though the first 2 were the best and it went downhill from there imo)

Star Wars Original Trilogy, I know it sounds lame but George Lucas taught me important lessons about right and wrong when I was growing up.

'ang on, 'aaaannng on a minute...alien and star wars aren't trilogies guys, you might want to ignore the other 2 (soon to be 3 for both series) but I'm afraid they still exist, so thats not legit. I mean if you're allowing those then I'd say Rocky was my favourite trilogy....there were 5 made, but hey, I didn't like the last 2 so I'm gonna call it a trilogy what the hell hehe

Its gotta be LOTR hasn't it...maybe because its so fresh in my mind, but maybe because it was an instant classic.

Indiana Jones is one of my all time favourites. And I would say the Godfather but I thought the third shouldn't have been made.

Dunno what to say, really. The Godfather is good, but it's only the movie that is a trilogy - IIRC, Puzo wrote only one book. Same with LOTR - three movies, but five books (if we count the Hobbit and Silmarillion, that is). I liked both.

An idea came to my head and is now desperately searching for brain
