Zone Alarms Free download dosen't expire i don't think

Does XP come with a firewall? Yeah, yeah it does. i don't care if it's crap 'cause I connect through a protected server or something like that. I dunno, but I know the server or internet or something is protected.

If you have already bought the first Zone alarm, you would only be buying a renewal and would not have to down load any thing. If ther is a "Key" sent, copy and paste it to a notepad doc and save it. Works for incredimail.

@Wolfy, if you could scrape up the cash, $49.99 I think, you could pickup 2004 Norton Firewall or McAfee for $39.99 and they are good for a long time with free upgrades for one year. An Idea.

Zone Alarms is better than Norton or Mcafee

XP will have an improved fiewall when SP2 comes out untill then change your Bios clock back or use the free Zone Alarms

The "Kerio Personal Firewall" is supposed to be quite good. There is also the free version of ZA, as has already been mentioned. The other option is a little under-handed. There are dodgy serial keys out there, you know. Not of course, that I am advocating their use .

Ive got a keygen for zone alarm pro v3.0.2.6 if u want it, even got the installer, just email me if u want it.

suprisingly taw hasn't had a say in this.. i don't use any firewall. *gasp* and my com's running good.

Norton Internet Security is a pukka package for a stand alone machine, I've been running it for some time now and am very happy with it.

i haven't had anything to say because you're on about free cr*p and rips which naturally I won't touch with someone else's officer.

I've recently abandoned NIS because I find that good firewall though it is, it uses up a lot of memory and chucks a lot of dll's in at startup. I also find that the ccapp common client registers fook up just a bit too often for my liking, so I use Zone Alarm Pro (paid for) and it gives me a lot more control over my network, and is somewhat easier on memory usage. Just a preference on my part, I have no major critiicsms of the Norton product.
