Ti-83 +plus

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Ti-83 +plus

I had to get one at the beging of the year and those thing are great you can get and create your own games for them, but have yet to do so. You can also open it up and give it more memory and stuff. and if you have the cable that links it to your computer (which I know comes with the Silver Edition) you can dump your ROM to your computer and then Dump it back with modafacations like programs that you desinged on your computer wich is easier than on it's built in key board. Also I think that if you have it At home(which I do) you can write programs in That and import it to the calculator.

I built a stopwatch program on it and it still needs fine tuning, but is fairly accturate.

Ill post a simulator program up when i can find it

I have the TI-83 Plus Siver Addition, its a blessing in Calculus AB. It may sound like a waste of money for that much money but it can save you hours upon hours of homework. Its a waste of money for simple math but once you get up to Calculus and Trig. you have to have a calculator with that much power to actually do the problems you get.

I have that too. But now that i got my pda...it seems so archaic. I had so many games on that baby. I got the most use out of it by installing those quadratic apps and stuff.

@EB - I agree with the quadratic equation programs. Its definately alot easier to punch it all in the calculator and hit the enter button then what it is to attempt to work some of those out by hand.

When You have to do calculus it is worth the money and although I don't have the silver edition so I can't really say, It looks as if it is evn better and worth the extra 15 or 20 dollars. on another note I got mine for $65 at circut city. a great deal.

The Ti-83+ isn't worth it for trig. It's for graphing, though, and not a lot of things out there can graph AND help you cheat on tests .

You know whats the best thing? You can wite down entire chapters into that little thingy, so you can take a look at your notes during a test

I got one for school (back in the days, you know ) and right before every test we would "synchronise" our calculators so that we all would have the best info to make every test. And still some guys managed to fail the tests.

Edit: Damn spelling.
