I guess most of you (the Brits at least) will have heard of this by now.
I found it hilarious, its so bizarre it should be part of a sitcom. You've got to commend the guy on managing to carry on for 9 hours on a subject he didn't know anything about. It seems to be quite a shame that he's likely to receive some form of punishment for it.

so how do you pronounce Ng then? "Nug" "Ung" or "Nuh-juh?"

it's pronounced Nung or Ning, depending on the Chinese dialect and region

Looks a lot like you would say, ING with the n being silent.
